to oregon. actually in, oregon, you saw 159 kilometer mile per hour winds today. looks like 50 sustained winds. and we could still see strong sustained winds. 150 centimeters of snow into the higher elevations. definitely a very potent winter storm. we'll be watching that one in the northwest. let's take a look across the ocean into eastern asia. this system pushing through western japan now and this will start to bring heavy rainshowers already to western japan and work its way to the east. saturday, expect widespread rain that will shift over to snow. especially over to hokkaido. and tokyo area. and outside of the city, could be seeing some accumulations of snow to the downtown area, and looks like flurries will be falling here. doesn't look like it will be accumulating up and more snowfall. sea-affect snow machine begins to turn back on. and on your monday meeting going into christmas day. meanwhile, high pressure dominating in the northeast. keeping things chilly. beijing minus three for your high. and in mongolia, only minus 27 on saturday. and tropics, expect afternoon rainshowers

running. we cover from the mexican border to oregon and what we facilitate through the organization is we are embedded with the state of california through the last 60 years. we are in the cali complex, we have an mou with the secretary of cali and can bring resources from other companies in the field across all the disciplines for mutual assistance. we can stage, deploy and sit on situational awareness providing the state the information they need to posture a response and at the same time we can then be putting together the teams that are going to have to come in and support pg&e or other utilities that are in the stricken zone. we'll be calling on organizations from san diego to redding, we'll be calling on organizations outside the state of california that we have mou's with out of nevada and other surrounding states so that in the event an incident of this magnitude happens there is sufficient response personnel notified postured and deployed to keep a continuous line of assistance from the private municipal sector moving into the stricken area in san francisco to support and reco

pressure area spinning off oregon that is going to continue to feed in moisture. we have about two more fronts to move through. the next one gets here tonight. when you wake up tomorrow morning it will be very soggy, for the first half of the day before we get a break. but the overall weather pattern is set up and locked, locked in place. high pressure to the south and west, low pressure to the north and west carrying storms right into northern california all the way beyond the new year. we will likely be wetter than normal. but specifically for tomorrow, we're looking at half inch of rain for concord, two-thirds for redwood city and up to 2" of rain for the north bay and north bay mountains. rain picks up tonight. if you have to go out shopping and don't want the rain, the best bet is a brief break tomorrow afternoon. rain sunday, and one dry day on christmas eve. highs tomorrow, san jose 57. redwood city 56. hayward, union city 56. last-minute shopping in walnut creek or pleasanton, mid-50s for you. rain likely especially early tomorrow sausalito, alameda, san francisco, mid-50s for y
